Our latest response to covid19

We have been working hard since the start of the pandemic and the safety and wellbeing of our residents, staff and visitors are always our highest priority at Brookside.

For visits to view a room available at Brookside, you will be able to arrange a viewing, but there are certain restrictions in place to ensure the ongoing safety of our current residents and members of staff. Please call 01858 465899 and we can arrange this.

01/02/2022:

There are now no longer any limits on the number of visitors our residents can receive.

There are still some measures that will remain in place to help keep visiting at Brookside as safe as possible:

. Please continue to call us first to arrange your visit (01858 465899)

. All visitors will still need to LFT on the day of their visit and show evidence of the result via the NHS app

. All visitors are still required to wear a face mask provided by Brookside and use hand sanitiser

The following guidance continues to apply for any residents wishing to partake in visits out of the care home:

Any others involved in an indoor visit out of the home must LFD test on the day of the visit and report the result via Brookside’s’ UON.

Please do not hesitate in contacting us if you have any questions and we look forward to seeing many more of you

Please feel free to forward to tag / share or forward this notice to any other interested visitors.

Lots of love from the Brookside Team.

A notice from Registered Provider : Mrs Helen Whittington (Nee Clarke)

”Making the decision to move into a care home – and choosing the right one – is never easy and we want everyone to feel safe and secure at our family-run care home.

Our visiting guidance at Brookside will continue to change and we understand this has been one of the toughest, most sensitive issue for both residents and relatives, created by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, if we all work together – we can look forward to a brighter future.

And remember… We are only a phone call away.”

Warm Regards,

Mrs Helen Whittington

Registered Provider.
