Thank goodness for Brookside! A wonderful place with wonderful staff! We are so grateful that Mum is safe and well, particularly during this pandemic. We trust the staff. Last year Mum experienced a mini-stroke, and the staff were so experienced, they knew exactly what was happening and acted promptly. The management kept us fully informed throughout. I really cannot speak more highly of Brookside. Staff are always cheerful and welcoming. It's lovely there! I love visiting my mum there. She is content and well.

My mother just celebrated her 100th birthday at Brookside, where she has been for the last decade. I, and the rest of the family, have nothing but praise for the care she has received. We have not had a moment of doubt that she was receiving the best care she could get.

Fabulous care home, kind lovely staff. My mother in law loves her life here. I’m so grateful and relieved that she is so well cared for and happy.You all really do deserve praise. It’s like a ton of weight has been taken off my shoulders knowing Anne is happy and content with you. When we came to take Anne out last week it felt like we were walking into a family members home. Gorgeous food, warm happy, cozy atmosphere. I could have easily kicked off my shoes and thought I was home. Well done! you lot. People like you who do such a fantastic job with elderly vulnerable people seriously are stars. Thank you.

My 94-year-old mother had to enter a care home about three years ago as she was/is suffering from worsening dementia problems and needed the specialist help that a good home could provide. At first, we were advised to place her in another nearby facility by the social services, but it soon became apparent that the care she was receiving there was very poor - so we did our own research and moved her to Brookside, where she has been way happier and far better looked after. That was a little over two years ago, since when we can't speak highly enough of Brookside, their facilities, and their extraordinary staff that take such good care of mum. I can thoroughly recommend Brookside and would happily advise anyone faced with similar circumstances to trust the care of any loved one to them.

Brookside is a lovely care home very friendly management and happy care staff which reflects on to the residents who all seem very happy and contented due to the devoted attention of the staff. I noticed all this in the short time I was there on wed singing and putting a smile on the residents faces having sang all over the world in my long career it was so nice for me have a great afternoon at Brookside and I look forward to seeing you all again soon, Barry Noble 60s tv and recording artist

Brookside is a small independent care home that does what it says on the tin, “they care”. The resident’s rooms are home from home. They are well furnished, tastefully decorated, warm and welcoming. The residents, if they choose, are able to eat together and socialise together and genuinely form friendships. The staff are helpful and attentive and well trained. It was thanks to them that my mother’s recent bout of breathlessness was identified early and the paramedics were called enabling her to be taken to A & E promptly. This care home and its staff are special. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care services and facilities of Brookside Residential to any prospective client families.

In our 3 months experience of Brookside, we know Brookside is indeed unique, delivering a very personal yet totally professional care experience. The attention to detail on even the minor things has ensured the transition from home to Brookside was not a painful one. The entire team at Brookside is “home from home”. We are at peace of mind as a family knowing the person we love is happily settled and very well looked after. We visit regularlyand feel we have become part of this new family who never says anything is too much trouble. A thank you to all in the team.

My nan chose Brookside herself at the age of 96, she liked the smallness and family feel with home cooked meals, outings and planned activities. The room was faultless, everything an elderly lady needed. The garden was lovely and accessible. The staff were helpful, kind, caring and understanding. The last year of my nan’s life she got really frail and ill, she was rushed to hospital a few times. The staff were great with her care. My Nan died at Brookside care home, very peacefully and with as much dignity as possible. She was comfortable and happy to the end. A few of the staff attended her funeral and were visibly upset, it showed they cared.

A lovely residential care home in a rural location with kind, caring staff. They offer many different activities on a daily/weekly basis to ensure the residents have interaction, including craft days, baking, sing-a-longs and day trips too. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Keep up the good work!

we are so pleased that it is Brookside Care Home that our 100-year-old mother is cared for at. The staff are all excellent, from the management, care providers to the chef and cleaner. They take time to interact with the residents in a kind, caring, kind and considerate happy manner

Can fully recommend this care home with peace of mind at the forefront! My father was welcomed into this beautiful, caring home. He loved the staff and residents like family as that is the way he was received. This is the only care home I feel in the local area that offers a high standard of care.

After looking at many care homes this by far exceeds in its quality of care. The staff are lovely and its like one big family. Even though we have to travel a bit further to see Dad it was definitely the right home. He is very happy and says how well they take care of him. Thank you Brookside I would give you a 10/10

My nan stayed at the home for her last 3 years & enjoyed every day , she was very well looked after & cared for & the staff are all excellent , she couldn’t have stayed at a more friendly & cosy rest home because quite simply there’s no others around to match it

I selected Brookside Residential Care Home for my 100 year old mother after she started showing signs of dementia. I visited the home several times with my mother prior to her moving in, we were made very welcome. The home is small with a very homely feel which I thought would help my mother adapt to a new lifestyle. She has been there for 6 months now and is becoming more settled. The staff had to deal with some testing behaviour as dementia took hold, they all coped very well. They have shown that they provide a safe, homely and very caring environment for my mother.
