Thank goodness for Brookside! A wonderful place with wonderful staff! We are so grateful that Mum is safe and well, particularly during this pandemic. We trust the staff. Last year Mum experienced a mini-stroke and the staff were so experienced, they knew exactly what was happening and acted promptly.
The management kept us fully informed throughout. I really cannot speak more highly of Brookside. Staff are always cheerful and welcoming. It's lovely there! I love visiting my mum there. She is content and well.

A CARE HOME SHOWING KINDNESS, DIGNITY & RESPECT
My 86 year old mother went into Brookside for two weeks of respite care in July 2021 and has stayed there ever since. I was recommended Brookside by our day carers and a number of other friends who were aware of their excellent and caring attitude towards their clients. Mother went in for a 'holiday', the Chef greeted her to ask her likes and dislikes, so he could ensure she was looked after. My mother has vascular dementia and other issues, which are progressing at some speed now but everyone at the home looks after her with great kindness, dignity and respect. The facilities and events they hold for the residents are really good and they discuss all aspects of the home life and any changes they may like. I would like to say on behalf of our whole family, how grateful we are to all of those who look after our mother They have taken away all the worry for us and we know she is loved and well cared for 24/7 in a lovely warm, spotlessly clean and comfortable home. EXTRAORDINARY STAFF AT BROOKSIDE CARE HOME
My 94-year-old mother had to enter a care home about three years ago as she was/is suffering from worsening dementia problems and needed the specialist help that a good home could provide. At first, we were advised to place her in another nearby facility by the social services, but it soon became apparent that the care she was receiving there was very poor - so we did our own research and moved her to Brookside, where she has been way happier and far better looked after. That was a little over two years ago, since when we can't speak highly enough of Brookside, their facilities, and their extraordinary staff that take such good care of mum. I can thoroughly recommend Brookside and would happily advise anyone faced with similar circumstances to trust the care of any loved one to them.

RETIREMENT HOME STAFF WHO ARE SUPPORTIVE…KIND…CARING…
As a family, we are so pleased that it is Brookside Care Home that our 100-year-old mother is cared for at. The staff are all excellent, from the management, care providers to the chef and cleaner. They take time to interact with the residents in a kind, caring, kind and considerate happy manner. The premises and facilities have a pleasant homely feel, being bright and comfortable with views of the garden and countryside. During all of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the staff have worked hard to keep the residents and themselves free from the virus. The staff have supported residents with family contact using phone calls, video calls and window visits. Regular updates are given via website and social media and phone calls all very much appreciated.

I've visited the home on several occasions. Its such a lovely, cosy family home the residents always seem very happy and staff always have a smile on their faces. Highly recommend as this is a home from home staff and management truly who care passionately about their family residents.

Brookside residential care home is a very peaceful and tranquil care home, located in the serenic grounds of a small village-Brookside. Overlooking a small Brook, the home is, very spacious and well presented, with a warm and cosy glow to it. The staff are energetic, friendly and provide a very warm and easy going atmosphere.
